商務英語俚語

1. 稱呼

相比大家都比較熟悉了，CEO(chief executive officer)即總經理也就是公司裏的一把手。

CFO(chief financial officer)財政總管，

V.P (Vice president)副總裁、副董事長

一般公司職員稱他們的經理或者主管為chief或者head，有時也稱他們為mucky-muck, big shot, big wheel, big whig 或者biggies,在公司裏，有時將男老闆稱為：,女老闆則被稱為。

2. 解聘職員

解僱除了可以使用axe，boot, dismiss, dump, fire, oust, sack等這些動詞之外，還可以使用give someone the gate，kick someone out, let someone go, send someone packing, throw someone out on one's ear等詞組。

二、 貿易洽談

貿易洽談是商務活動中的重要環節，如果不能理解這些俚語，很有可能出現陰差陽錯的結果或者使洽談無法進行下去。

洽談可以用negotiate，barter，hammer out a deal, wheel and deal等來表示。

在商務洽談中，價格往往是談判雙方最在意的問題。如果想要壓低價格，可以用knock down the price , come down ,dicker等，例如：

Can you come down a little ?你能再降低一點價格嗎?

We spent an hour dicker ingover the price he charged us.我們花了整整一個小時來降低他的要價。

如果以低價買入一件東西或者產品，可以用get something at a steal. Rock-bottom offer表示最低價報盤。

如果接受報價：take it. 如果拒絕：leave it. 如果沒有中標，表示為：As for a bid , we did not make it. make it 則表示成功做到某事。

如果洽談結果雙方都滿意即為：win-win situation, 如果雙方都不滿意：no-win situation.

三、 市場營銷
